Susan Gallo

Susan Gallo has been an artist and teacher for over 30 years. She received her degree in art with an emphasis in printmaking from California State University, San Bernardino. Her interest in art developed early, influenced by her uncle, who was an artist and illustrator for Amazing Stories, a 1930’s publication, and also from her father who created stained-glass designs and illuminated manuscripts. For many years she painted murals for clients as well as paintings on canvas. Since moving to Idaho, she has developed a body of work consisting of images that depict the beauty of the forest, the grandeur of its lakes, wetlands, mountain majesty and sky, and the glory of its flowers. She participates in the Sandpoint, Idaho annual Art Studio Tour.
